Rhode Island investigated vendor based solutions, before making a decision to partner with Stonewall in the development of their new JCMS Juvenile application.  Our value proposition, flexible Agile development methodology and agreement to provide full ownership of the application to Rhode Island were key factors.

Stonewall is working with the RI Judicial Systems to design and build a Juvenile Case Tracking System based on open source web technology. 

The previous Juvenile system was inflexible in meeting requirements, and expensive (vendor licensing and support costs).  Being a client/server based application that runs on an unsupported version of the Oracle database has fueled the decision to build a new Juvenile System

The new (JCMS) Juvenile system supports single case and multiple case entry and management.  An intuitive web interface insures ease of use.  Reports utilizes the BIRT open source reporting engine, insuring flexibility.

Rhode Island will incur no follow on licensing and support costs, once this JCMS application is deployed.
